TripleLite was born from necessity, but it quickly became a calling from God.

One night, Ron nearly lost his footing while walking down steps in the backyard. As he was walking down, something to the left caught his eye. As he waved a standard, circle flashlight to see what it was, the steps he was walking down became dark and he almost tripped. So, he waved the flashlight back to see where he was going. That moment sparked an idea—a light that could cover the entire field of vision, shooting light not only straight ahead, but left and right!

Thus came the invention of the 180° flashlight, an invention so unique that Ron and Nancy were able to obtain multiple U.S. and international patents. It even caught the attention of Shark Tank, where Ron and Nancy aired on U.S. national TV and in Canada. On a rare occasion, they received offers from all five Sharks, and ended up choosing Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban!

Ron’s invention went from being a simple safety solution to Ron and Nancy realizing it was an invention given to them from God—so they could share Light around the world.

While Ron brought the invention, Nancy brought the vision to life. With no corporate background, she built TripleLite into a business through persistence, prayer, and unshakable faith. Alongside Ron, she weathered trials—including a lawsuit and multiple challenges that threatened to take away everything they had built. Through it all, Ron and Nancy leaned on Jesus and never gave up on their faith in God.

With God carrying them through, and their heart for evangelism, they are ready to take on the world, one step at a time. They added Scripture to their retail packaging—John 8:12—and Nancy, when hiking a mountain four times a week, places Gospel of John tracts and a tract titled How To Be Saved along the path.

This is just the beginning for TripleLite. Nancy and Ron plan on spreading the Gospel around the world, in whatever way God leads them—no matter what trials or persecution they endure.

The mission has become clear: TripleLite exists to shine light in dark places—both physically and spiritually.

The flashlight itself represents the 180° beam that turns night into day, but it also points to a greater truth—the 180° turn from sin to Jesus Christ. That turning, that salvation, is the light that never goes out.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8 NKJV
 

Today, TripleLite is more than a flashlight company—it’s a ministry. Every flashlight is a reminder of the words of Jesus:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12 NKJV
 

And for Ron and Nancy, this story is still being written—because spreading the Gospel is the brightest purpose of all.
